How AI is used in MoYu TV
- What the AI does: it understands your requests, recommends and searches for titles, writes spoiler-free summaries and chats with you about movies.
- AI is labeled: AI-generated replies and summaries are identified as AI in the app.
- AI can be wrong: it may misunderstand your request, make factual mistakes (for example about a title's plot, cast or age rating) or occasionally produce unsuitable text. Treat AI output as a helpful suggestion, not as fact or professional advice.
- Safeguards: we apply filters, safety instructions and monitoring designed to reduce harmful or inappropriate output, and we continuously work to improve them.
- Your data: see how prompts are processed in our Privacy Policy.
What is not allowed
Whether you are writing prompts to the AI or submitting reviews, comments or other content, you must not:
- create, request or share child sexual abuse or exploitation material or sexualize minors in any way;
- promote or glorify violence, terrorism, self-harm or suicide, or give instructions for serious harm;
- harass, bully, threaten, or promote hatred or discrimination against people or groups;
- request sexually explicit content or generate real-person deepfakes, or impersonate others in a deceptive way;
- share illegal content, malware, scams or misleading claims presented as fact;
- share other people's private information (doxxing) or content you don't have the right to share;
- try to bypass safety filters, extract system instructions or abuse the AI at scale (for example with bots).
Mature content and age ratings
Some titles contain violence, strong language or other mature themes. Such titles carry an age rating or label, and some may require you to confirm that you are an adult. AI recommendations try to take your age and preferences into account, but you remain responsible for choosing suitable content, especially for children you supervise.
How to report a problem
If you see an AI reply, review, comment or title that is inappropriate, inaccurate, unlawful or unsafe:
- In the app: tap the flag / Report icon next to the AI reply or content and choose a reason.
- By email: write to [email protected] with the subject "Report" and, if possible, a screenshot and the title or conversation concerned.
- Copyright: use the process on our Copyright (DMCA) page.
We aim to review reports within 72 hours; reports involving child safety or imminent harm are prioritized. We use reports to remove content, adjust safeguards and improve the AI. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
Child safety standards
MoYu TV has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and trafficking. Our standards:
- Prohibition: CSAE content and behavior are strictly prohibited in prompts, AI output, user content and accounts.
- Prevention: the Service is not intended for children under 13. We apply AI safety filters and moderation intended to block requests and output that sexualize minors, and we restrict mature titles.
- In-app reporting: users can report AI replies and content directly in the app, and we act on reports promptly.
- Action: we remove violating content, terminate offending accounts, preserve relevant information as the law requires, and report apparent CSAM and CSAE to the appropriate authorities, such as the NCMEC CyberTipline or the competent local law-enforcement or hotline organizations.
- Compliance: we comply with applicable child-safety laws and regulations.
- Contact for child-safety matters: [email protected] (subject "Child Safety"). We monitor this address and respond to law-enforcement and regulator inquiries.
Enforcement and appeals
Depending on severity and history, we may warn you, remove content, limit features, suspend or permanently terminate your account, and report unlawful conduct to the authorities. If you think we made a mistake, email [email protected] with the subject "Appeal" and we'll review it.
Updates
We may update this policy as our features and the law evolve. The latest version is always on this page. See also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
